Assistant Director of Finance

·         Pursue the operational goal by carrying out all assignments tasked by the GM and other senior employees

·         Provide necessary support for establishing and executing strategic plans, budget and key performance indicators. Provide accounting guidelines

·         Monitor the cash flow trends and maximize the functional efficiency of the hotel's funds by managing inventory, credit and various cost and expenses

·         Maximize any surplus funds efficiently to maximize related income

·         Write and provide monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

·         Review and analyze budget performance to provide each department a guideline for staying within the budget

·         Make quarterly reports to the senior officer on financial performance and evaluation

·         Provide each department the latest performance and forecast data

·         Establish and review financial guidelines and policies

·         Design an efficient internal regulation and reporting systems

·         Evaluate and manage system processes in accordance with Lotte Hotel's accounting standards

·         Adopt and manage a payroll and approval process in accordance with Lotte Hotel's accounting standards

·         Perform internal and external audits as necessary

·         Provide necessary management support to executives in relation to operational support and the execution of company policies and business plans

·         Store all contracts and accounting records in a safe and secure manner

·         Monitor financial execution on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with policies and approvals

·         Network with local experts and personnel from competing companies

·         Ensure that all departments comply with accounting procedures

·         Provide feedback on various data that the Finance Director requires

·         Employ work processes which fulfill the regional accounting standards

·         Review and monitor on an ongoing basis any contracts with local banks established for the operation of the hotel

·         Perform regular inventory duties to remove any inefficient purchasing and inventory management practices

·         Review all debtor and creditor accounts on a monthly basis and approve them

·         Collect all processing fees and other contract payments as top priority

·         Learn about, and maintain the knowledge of, all services offered to customers by the hotel

·         Do everything possible to resolve customer complaints

·         Learn about and develop the latest industry trends to maintain competitiveness on an ongoing basis

·         Monitor and analyze the business operation for efficient budget performance

·         Create training programs including an orientation session for new employees

Responsibilities

·         Must possess a knowledge of international accounting standards

·         Must possess a knowledge of local taxation laws

·         Must have a general understanding of generating and processing revenue. Must have an understanding of the processes involved in credit management

·         Must have a general understanding of fundraising and administration

·         Must be capable of market analysis and forecasting

·         Must have excellent communication skills with workers. Must be able to receive instructions and make reports with accuracy

·         Must be able to run an organization efficiently based on employee strengths

·         Must have a global mindset and be fluent in foreign languages

Requirements

·         Career Level   : Assistant Director or higher

·         Education        : Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent level of work experience

·         Experience      : over 5 years of experience in finance and budget operation
