-          Daewoo Amara Hotel next to the Inya-Lake has been reborn as one of LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS, the No. 1 Hotel Chain in Korea.

 

-          LOTTE HOTEL will become the representative of Yangon, with the landmark which includes 15-story 5 Star luxury hotel and 29-story serviced residence, locating by the Inya-Lake.

Assistant Director of Sales

·         Pursue the operational goal by carrying out all assignments tasked by GM and other senior employee

·         Analyze and establish specific and detailed action plans to achieve revenue goals

·         Assign tasks and coordinate various marketing activities that will drive the hotel operation and increase M/S, including advertising, sales promotion, sales visits, promotions, special sales, community activities, internet, other events and projects

·         Get actively involved in various associations, memberships and other industry meetings to fulfill the roles of a community leader

·         Develop programs to increase overall occupancy and average guest fees

·         Develop various programs to drive low season operations

·         Plan various parties and events with the F&B department and carry out projects to increase F&B revenue

·         Research and put into practice a close, cooperative work relationship between sales and guest room departments

·         Review customer inquiries and complaints to make necessary improvements

·         Analyze data from external institutions such as the tourist statistics in a local city

·         Analyze sales and promotion activities by competing companies

·         Continually read up on the latest research data, articles and various publications in the hotel industry. Review and research the latest trends to establish the most effective sales techniques

·         Form a close network with airliners, travel agencies, government organizations, private clubs, and various professional associations in the local communities and markets to  secure returning customers on an ongoing basis and to create opportunities for new markets

·         Regularly review promotional activities on various media channels to improve the level of awareness in the local communities

·         Actively manage the development of new products and services

·         Provide all customers with services of the highest quality

·         Do everything possible to resolve customer complaints

·         Learn about and develop the latest industry trends to maintain competitiveness on an

·         ongoing basis

·         Plan and administer effective budget goals within the bounds of the hotel's budget

·         Contribute to the general operation strategy planning. Provide necessary support for

establishing annual hotel operation plans

·         Get actively involved in identifying and developing the potential strengths in employees

·         Promote a smooth operation and cooperation when working jointly with other departments

·         Interact frequently with employees to improve employee satisfaction. Encourage cooperation with company policies and systems

Responsibilities

·         Must be able to meet company’s goal and customer expectations. Must be able to provide outstanding products and services

·         Must have an understanding of hotel business and profit structure management

·         Must have an understanding of market strategies. Must be able to establish strategies depending on operational conditions

·         Must be courteous, sociable and have connections for international business

·         Must have excellent communication and presentation skills

·         Must be able to assign and manage responsibilities depending on priority and competence

·         Must have an excellent command of English and other foreign languages

·         Must possess basic computer skills

Requirements

·         Career Level   : Assistant Director or higher

·         Education        : Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent level of work experience

·         Experience      : over 5 years of experience in hotel services and Sales
