Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Computer Teacher to join our school. You will be responsible for creating lesson plans to match the curriculum for every academic year. You will also have to collect and develop teaching materials to aid your teaching process. Furthermore, you will be responsible for evaluating, grading, and tracking the students' progress throughout the course term.
Apart from your teaching responsibilities, you should be able to actively participate in any extracurricular activities. Also, your role as a Computer Teacher includes advising and guiding students during research or project work. Maintaining an orderly classroom environment and ensuring laboratory cleanliness at all times are also your responsibilities. In addition, you should be able to assist students, teachers, and other staff members in troubleshooting any technical issues.
Teach ICT/Computer subjects in line with the syllabus for Secondary students.
Plan and prepare lesson plans and instructional materials for conventional and online teaching.
Prepare, evaluate, and assess students’ coursework, assignments, projects, presentations, and assigned tasks.
Monitor and report students’ progress to their respective parent(s)/guardian(s) and provide guidance to improve students’ learning performance when required.
Responsible for classroom management and student discipline.
Create a positive learning environment using creative classroom activities to motivate continuous progress among students.
Work collaboratively with the Head of Department (HoD) to plan and coordinate assigned tasks
