-          Daewoo Amara Hotel next to the Inya-Lake has been reborn as one of LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS, the No. 1 Hotel Chain in Korea.

Director of Human resource Team

·         Develop and implement recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract qualified candidates for position vacancies

·         Review hotel benefits and compensation levels in comparison with service sector competitors and makes recommendations to ensure the hotel remains competitive within the local employment market as appropriate

·         Manage Human Resource Department, ensuring compliance with all corporate, area and hotel policies and procedures; and current local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices

·         Design, produce and implement training programs which meet specific departmental needs in conjunction with department head, ensuring that session plans are structured and that training is effective

·         Prepare and manage a cost effective budget with measurable targets for department within the financial parameters set down by the hotel budget

·         Regulary analyse hotel manpower requirements and recommends selection and development activities to meet those requirements

·         Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions

·         Assist in maintaining and creating a positive atmosphere within the hotel that allows for open two way communication that ensures morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels

·         Maintain and update files on employee records, legal documents and other personnel matters, efficiently and confidentiality

·         Actively work at developing your staff and identify high potentials

·         Regularly communicate with staff to maintain good relations

·         Ensure all staff facilities are maintained in good order and meet hotel’s cleanliness standards

Responsibilities

·         Understanding of HRM and HRD, ability to establish such system

·         Basic legal knowledge of the Labor Act

·         Understanding of labor negotiations and backup skills

·         Good communication skills among staff and training and reporting skills

·         Basic computer skills, including MS Office

·         English conversation skills to enable global business

Requirements

·         Career Level   : Director

·         Education        : over Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of work experience

·         Experience      : over 5 years of experience in hotel HR department
