We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, social and structured strong Junior Content Developer. As content developer you will be responsible for ensuring high quality content in Burmese language on our platform. In the beginning your tasks consist of translating content from English to Burmese and from Burmese to English. Based on performance of yourself and the company, your responsibilities will be increased. Responsibilities will increase over time to collecting and compiling information and data from online or physical sources, managing our social media channels and more.

• Ensuring high quality of content on our platform – according to the “Golden Paddy standard”
• Translating English to Burmese and Burmese to English – in both Zawgyi and Unicode font
• Contribute to team efforts by supporting other team members where needed
• Based on performance responsibilities can be increased (e.g. developing content, social media management, etc.)

Hard Skills & Experiences

·       Recently graduated from a University

·       Excellent writing, reading and comprehension skills in both English and Burmese language

·       Ability to translate accurately from English to Burmese and Burmese to English – in both Zawgyi and Unicode font

·       Excellent knowledge of Excel

·       Good knowledge of Dropbox, Google Drive and Word

·       Experience within the development sector and/or agricultural sector is an advantage

·       Experience of courses which specialize in linguistics or translation is an advantage

·       Experience in working with a CMS is an advantage
