Treasury Officer

Responsible of periodical accounts at entity level, both for local and group reporting purposes, processing of operated JV billings, monitoring payments, communication with internal and external auditors, reconciliation of JV accounts on a monthly basis, handling treasury activities (bank reconciliations, payments to suppliers, petty cash).


  • Ensure timely and correct payments to, including but not limited to: suppliers, service providers , tax and local authorities;
  • Ensure that all payments are properly authorized and recorded, in accordance with
  • Company procedures;
  • Update cash book on daily basis;
  • Manage Company petty cash;
  • Perform reconciliation of bank and petty cash accounts on monthly basis;
  • Prepare financial position and rolling forecasts with input in reporting systems according to internal calendars;
  • Monitor changes to local legislation to ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements to public authorities;
  • Handle correspondence with banks and local authorities, ensure that all communications are kept in good order with proper filing of documents;
  • Liaise with tax advisors and tax department to ensure timely submission of tax returns;
  • Prepare MOGE and MIC reports as required by PSCs and JOAs
  • Prepare monthly billing and cash calls to JV Partners and monitor variances with JV approved budgets;
  • Answer queries from the Joint Venture Partners and Government Authorities;
  • Develop proficiency in using various group reporting applications, including but not limited to treasury;
  • Assist the FM for preparation of reports for forecast, business plans, monthly reporting in Mastro, budget and other assignments as may be required.


  • Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
  • Master Degree in Accounting or similar areas
  • Minimum 5 years finance experience in Oil & Gas Industry
